Musikgarten at Concordia
From birth, children love music The Musikgarten class exposes children to music in various ways (singing, moving, playing, responding, creating) and helps children to focus their learning in constructive ways. Musikgarten is a national program that offers comprehensive curricula for children from birth to age nine. The national curriculum is based on the developmental needs of children. Throughout the learning experience, children learn and enjoy favorite songs, stories and dances. Discover what Musikgarten is about by viewing a short video.
What We Believe
Concordia’s philosophy is that there is music in every child, and that all children, through music, can become more confident, creative, and happier human beings. Our goal is to provide a warm and supportive environment in which children can explore the world of music, develop positive attitudes about themselves and the arts, and grow in their ability to understand their feelings and express them. Music is a child’s second language and its study can contribute greatly to a child’s intellectual and emotional growth. To facilitate the greatest amount of interaction, enrollment in each class is limited to 5 minimum and 11 maximum.
